ShiftPixy, Inc., its subsidiaries, and affiliated entities (including any entities contracted to support the Platform) (collectively “ShiftPixy,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) have adopted this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explaining our privacy practices.

  2. The ShiftPixy Labs website — www.Labs.ShiftPixy.com (“Labs Site”)
  3. Our mobile applications, including ShiftPixy, ShiftPixy Labs, ZiPixy, and our Human Resources Information System Technology Platform (the “Application”).

However, to access job or employment opportunities (“Shifts”) provided through the Platform, we may require personal details such as your name, address, date of birth, email, and phone number.

When you register an account as a “Shift Worker,” you provide additional information necessary for payroll and compliance. We may also collect information through surveys, optional programs, or communications submitted through the Platform.

 

Anonymous or Aggregate Data

We collect data about Platform use on an aggregate and anonymous basis for analytical and security purposes. This data is not linked to your identity.

 

Cookies and Other Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixel tags or web beacons) to improve user experience, remember preferences, and track site performance. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some Platform features may not function properly if you do.

 

IP Address

We collect your IP address to help prevent fraud and analyze visitor trends. This information is automatically logged when you visit our Sites.

Shifter Data

ShiftPixy also collects data about individuals performing work for ShiftPixy clients (“Shifter Data”), including employment details, compensation, and contact information.

Authorized personnel and vendors under confidentiality agreements may access this data only as required for payroll, compliance, benefits, or other employment-related functions.
ShiftPixy does not share, sell, or transfer mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with any third parties for marketing or unrelated purposes.

SMS Consent and Messaging Policy (10DLC Compliance)

By opting in to receive text messages from ShiftPixy, you agree to receive shift alerts, reminders, and essential notifications at the number you provide.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not share SMS opt-in or consent data with any third party for unrelated marketing purposes. Your number may be shared only with carriers or vendors assisting with message delivery under strict confidentiality.

Opt-out instructions:
Reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to stop receiving messages.
Reply HELP for assistance.
Once processed, you will not receive further SMS messages except where legally required.

 

Choice and Opt-Out

You may opt out of communications or request data removal by contacting support@shiftpixy.com, unless retention is required by law or for employment-related compliance.

Videos and Images of Users

By uploading or sharing video, image, or audio content, you consent to its use in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Use.

The Application may use GPS or similar technologies to:

  • Display nearby shift opportunities

  • Track check-in/out activity for work

  • Support scheduling and compliance functions

You can disable location services in your device settings, though this may limit Platform functionality.

 

Children’s Information

ShiftPixy does not knowingly collect data from individuals under 13 years of age. If we become aware of such data, it will be promptly deleted. Parents may contact us for assistance.

 

International Users

Our Platform and servers are based in the United States. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer and storage of your information in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

 

Updates to This Policy

This Policy may be updated periodically. The revised version will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Continued use of the Platform indicates acceptance of changes.
